These pages (Genesis thru Revelation) are really special. Through BibleGateway, we are able to read and hear the Bible being read at the same time, a wonderful way to take in the scriptures. A. R. Wells also shares a Tiny Meditation on each chapter in the Bible (written in 1908) to help us make a self-application of what we read. And there’s more to discover on these pages including classic paintings and photography that help illustrate some of the Biblical passages, but the most important thing is that we spend quality time in God’s Word. May it be so for all of us!

Instructions:
After opening a Bible book and clicking on individual chapters to open up Bible Gateway, then click both the audio icon and the book chapter at the top of the page and you’ll be ready to both read and listen.
The ads on Bible Gateway unfortunately can be distracting, but by focusing on the WORD I have learned to ignore them. Another option is to listen to the audio only and let our eyes follow in our own Bible. Also, please see the note at the bottom of this page about another Audio Bible without distractive ads.
(Note: Here is another Audio Bible (KJV) with no distractive ads which I think is special, but it does not include the A.R. Wells comments nor the classic paintings. If you want to check it out, the link is:
