Grandpa’s Bible Focus Games

The games are now free to those that can pay $4.95 to help with shipping, handling, and PayPal fees. You can place your order online at the bottom of the page if you choose to do so.

The games are based upon the Biblical principle of sowing and reaping, and reading Bible verses out loud is an important part of the games. When one of the games was taught to 6th-12th graders in a local Christian School, some unsolicited comments from students were: “I really like this game; this game is awesome; this is the best game I have ever played.”

You probably will not need it; but if you purchase any of the games and need help with the rules or in learning how to play the game, I sincerely want to be a helper. Just send any question to or text or phone 740-412-5329.

fruitpsalms of praiseTHE TEN The Bible Focus Games are a series of three (3) games including – Giving Our Voice to: The Fruit of the Spirit, Psalms of Praise, and The Ten Commandments. Each game has words from the Bible boldly printed on the face of 2”x3.5” cards (a total of 121 cards per game).

The Scriptural foundation of the games is the Parable of the Sower taught by Jesus, and special game activities include making plants, reaping harvests, and reading Bible verses out loud. The best setup is to divide players (Kids old enough to read Bible verses out loud up through Senior Citizens) into two teams with a total of one, two or three on each team. The purpose of the games is not to test one’s knowledge of the Bible but to provide an opportunity for players to think (or meditate) on what the Bible says.

All three games pretty much follow the same order of play and have the same rules which means that when you learn to play one game you will know how to play the other games as well. Players will experience competition, teamwork, the value of patience and alertness, reading Bible Verses out loud, growing in an understanding of the relationship between sowing and reaping, etc.

The first team earning 500 points wins the game (300 for shorter games) but everyone really wins for God said regarding his Word, …it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it (Isaiah 55:11).

15                                                                           Family is important, and I believe Christian families and friends getting together for special times of fun and fellowship is very important. Sadly, it does not happen as often now as in times past. I’m hoping that these special games will become a means of bringing families, kids, and adults together once again and in a setting where the seed of God’s Word is sown into the hearts and minds of many people.

against such there is no law.

Can Bible verses printed on 2″ x 3.5″ cards and all related to the nine components of the Fruit of he Spirit open up a new opportunity for believers

…to think more deeply on God’s Word;

…to learn more about living a fruitful Christian life;

…to experience joy and fellowship with family and friends;

…to reach out to non-believers?
