THE MESSAGE OF THE CROSS is a powerful message! “…Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures” (1 Cor. 15:3). “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.” (John 3:16).
Jesus loved us so much that he gave himself as “the Lamb of God” to make atonement for our sins on the Cross of Calvary. The Holy Bible and the Cross of Christ assure us that when we repent of our sins and trust in Jesus as our Lord and Savior, we are made whole in him.
Can handing someone a Cross Penny (or putting them in cards or letters or leaving them with your tip in a restaurant, etc.) be a blessing to those that receive them? When backed by prayer and a desire to share the love of Jesus with others, I think YES! It can become a reminder to others of how much Jesus loves them, and there will be times when you are given the opportunity to tell them so.
Question: Is it legal to cut a Cross in US pennies? Answer: It is illegal to deface US currency to defraud or make it appear to be other currency; but it is not illegal to cut a Cross in pennies or turn coins into a work of art…and I think cutting a Cross into a penny adds new meaning to the words IN GOD WE TRUST for many Americans.

Suggestion:
You will come up with your own words, but here is a suggestion on how to use the Cross Pennies as a tool to help you witness to someone for Jesus when God’s providence brings you into conversation with others.
1) Somewhere in the conversation, hand them a Cross Penny and say something like: “Here, let me give you one of my Cross Pennies. The Cross is a reminder of how much Jesus loves us; and if you need proof, just read John 3:16.”
2) What happens next will depend upon how the other person responds to your witness to them for Jesus. God has helped you plant the seed, and now you keep them in your prayers.

I have received my cross Pennie’s and they are great. My nephew is a preacher and I told him I would give it to him for his church and to do as he pleases. He’s very excited to get them.

I found a cross penny today outside a hospital in Jacksonville, FL.
As a Christian I knew that it would be a blessing in some way. I felt God’s love and as I looked at the cross, I was reminded of the sacrifice Jesus’ life gave me.
I will share it with my Grandchildren, my children, FaceBook, friends and family. Most of all with my husband. He is growing in the Lord and he would be touched by holding it in his hands.

Thank you for making these pennies! I give them out all the time. I just order more! I’m taking 30 of them to a recovery meeting tomorrow to hand out to the men and women in sobriety. They have received coins in AA and NA, but this is a very special coin for them!

when I was 10, I watched a movie that had an old rich man pull up in his car. His Chauffer opened the door and children greated him. He gave each one a penny and said “a shiny penny, a foundation for your future”…..Now! I do the same thing, almost. I give people the cross penny. I say “a shiny penny, a foundation for your future, the ✝️” I tell them a few words to look towards Jesus and sometimes I pray for them right there where the stand. Thanks for making these affordable so I can give them away daily. EK

About March 2024, the store I work at on the board walk in Ocean City Maryland. I give these cross pennies to customers and as I go to Walmart etc. A woman who didn’t know Jesus, came into the store very sad. She had her hand bandaged up. She said in 2 days, the surgeon is going to cut off half her hand. I asked her I could pray. She looked as if she had nothing to loose. I prayed that Jesus would heal her……then ended it with “the surgeon will say, There is nothing to cut out” I handed her a cross penny to remember the payer…….2 months later, she looked for the store I was in and told everyone that God healed her. She showed everyone her hand ✋️ and asked if they knew where I was. The cross penny is a wonderful tool to get them to open up. Praise the lord Jesus….he heals

Four years ago, I stepped out of my car and saw four small shiny things on the ground. I realized they were small crosses when I picked them up. After studying them, I realized I could see part of Abe Lincoln’s beard, etc and realized they were crosses cut from pennies! Of course, I kept them. A few months later, a preacher (friend of the family) gave some pennies with crosses cut out of them to my husband and to me! When realized then how the crosses had come to be! We loved them so much, this guy ordered some more for us. When I had open heart surgery in Nov. 2021, during Covid, we gave cross-pennies to all our medical staff. We had enough to give each person enough to give to their grandchildren or other family members. It gave us the opportunity to offer prayers to each person and gave them the opportunity to tell us about their families and how Covid was affecting their lives…
This website is the first time I have seen these crosses available for sale in addition to the pennies. I have ordered 20 dz of each and can’t watch to receive them and share this story with others.
