I hope something here (if in just a small way) will help someone in their MINISTRY OF GIVING.

GIVING SOMETHING TO SOMEONE that will help them focus on Jesus has the potential of making a big difference in their lives and especially if they see Jesus in us and as we keep them in our prayers.

Also, people may soon forget spoken words; but what you give will stay with them and can continually remind them of the love of Christ.

(I must share one story on giving.) Just recently while eating in a restaurant, A LITTLE BOY following his mother passed by on the way to their table. I caught the boy’s eye and handed him one of the “Who Does God Love?” button-mirrors and heard him tell his mom that the man gave it to him, and when she asked what it was he told her that he did not know. (I think his mom then explained it to him.) Later, I saw him show the button to someone else in the restaurant, and still later the little boy came over to our table, looked me in the eye and said. “GOD LOVES YOU TOO.” QUITE A BLESSING…and YES, it is a special blessing to give to children for God does often communicate his love through children.

“Let us share the Gospel of Christ with as many people as we can, in as many ways as we can, and for as long as we can.”

And I believe the GIFT OF GIVING is a special blessing that God chooses to honor and work through in many ways. Let us in prayer look for opportunities to give something to someone that will help them focus on Jesus and his love for them. And many times just giving a good word will make a glad heart. Amen.

And THE TRUE GIVER IS JESUS…who gave himself for us and rose again the third day!
