A Word to all Boys and Girls from Grandpa E

(And yes, E stands for Elmer)

Hello boys and girls:

Did you know there is someone MORE POWERFUL than Superman, Batman, Spiderman, and all the other make-believe heroes?

HIS NAME IS JESUS, AND HE IS REAL (make-believe heroes are not real). JESUS never fails. He has never lost a battle, and he really cares for you.

JESUS will always be with you to help you if you will just believe in him and always try to be the person he wants you to be. In fact, Jesus came to be more than just a hero; he came to be your very best friend, your Savior, and your Lord.

And here is an assignment for kids that like a challenge: If you have read the Bible Stories about Jesus in Book-1 of Grandpa’s Favorite Bible Stories for Boys and Girls, please write a note about what your favorite story is and why OR draw your own picture of one of the stories. Then, ask your parents to mail your work to Grandpa E. If you do, I will send you a free copy of both Books 2 and 3 plus another surprise item.
